The sixth album from Sound Intent is a collection of songs written from late 2019 and throughout the pandemic lockdowns of 2020 and 2021.           

Elevated Serenity consists of sixteen songs taking influences from a number of  electronic and pop artists, including Zara Larsson, Wilkinson, XTC, Gary Numan, John Foxx, Nik Kershaw, Bill Nelson and Etherwood. Drawing on elements from rock, liquid drum & bass, pop, progressive and cinematic musical styles to create a unique sounding album that can only be Elevated Serenity.

The collection of songs has been taken from a songwriting spree of over eighty songs written during the Covid 19 pandemic lockdowns. Many of which will no doubt make an appearance on future albums from Sound Intent. 

The album marks the tenth anniversay year of Sound Intent and was originally intended for release in early 2020, but is now set for a 2022 release.

As with previous releases, the songs follow a variety of light and dark moods that create a more cinematic sound to the tracks. There is more emphasis on the guitar this time around, harking back to earlier releases from Sound Intent.
