Production Notes
All compositions, arrangements, performances, recording, sound design, mixing and production were undertaken by Jools under the Sound Intent project. The albums were developed within a home studio environment using a combination of digital recording technologies, software instruments, sound design techniques and electric guitar performance. While each project explores its own musical identity, a common production philosophy runs throughout the catalogue; blending cinematic atmospheres, expressive melodic content and immersive electronic textures to create emotionally driven listening experiences. Sound design plays a significant role across the releases, helping to establish the narrative, mood and character of each album. Life on the Line places particular emphasis on melody, emotional accessibility and uplifting musical energy. Drawing influence from electronic music, pop songwriting and cinematic arrangement techniques, the album balances reflective themes with moments of optimism and release. Many of the compositions explore contrasts between challenge and hope, tension and resolution, creating an emotional journey that moves between introspection and celebration. Through recurring motifs of perseverance, belonging and personal strength, the album seeks to capture the resilience that emerges when people continue moving forward despite life's uncertainties.
